Stainless steel runner for doors up to 2500 mm ST53-BP53

This linear rail is made of stainless steel. Its length is adapted to the user’s needs. The rail length is adjusted on request up to 2000 mm (limit due to transport requirements). Standard rail lengths are 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm. Other lengths are possible. Rails are supplied undrilled as standard, but can be manufactured to a specific drilling pattern. The recommended drilling is shown on the technical drawing. Each rail is supplied with 2 pins providing the end-of-travel stop. Travel is reduced by 11 mm on each side.

Applications

This linear rail is designed for medium loads in applications requiring a very compact footprint, such as small covers or housings for protection on machinery. The load is the maximum force that can be supported per runner. This type of product does not tolerate well loads that subject it to torque. As far as possible, the load should therefore be centred, or a second runner used to cancel out this torque. Please refer to the technical data sheets for exact values. This product can be used as a translation guide, guide bar or rod, suspended rail, handling rail, door rail, horizontal sliding rail, or vertical guiding as for a guillotine-type mechanism.

The rail is supplied as standard in stainless steel. It is fitted with rubber-covered pin stops at each end. As standard, rails are supplied undrilled. Runner adjustment and setting: The rail-and-runner system is supplied assembled with minimal play and optimal rolling properties. We supply a set of rails and runners assembled and therefore pre-set. after checking that the raceways are clean, insert the runner without the wiper into the rail

loosen the adjustment screw of the centre roller, which is mounted on the eccentric,

with the rail resting on its edge, turn it using the supplied wrench to obtain the desired setting, then tighten the fixing screw to the torque recommended on the technical data sheet.

check that the runner slides freely in the rail. The runner must be able to move freely without excessive play.

refit the wipers.

Maintenance

The rails are factory-lubricated with a high-pressure bearing grease for optimal service life.
In the case of special conditions (abrasiveness, high cycle rates), regular and systematic maintenance should nonetheless be planned.
The runners must be greased regularly.
