1. In which sectors can roller runners linear rails be used?
At Chambrelan, we design sliding rail with roller runners linear rails that adapt to various sectors: aerospace, rail, medical, industrial machinery and vehicle fittings.
These rails are equipped with roller runners linear rails that ensure smooth and silent movement inside the fixed rail. Depending on your load or environmental constraints, you can choose a model in steel sliding rail, aluminium sliding rail or stainless steel sliding rail.
2. Why choose roller runners linear rails?
Their main advantage is the smoothness of movement. The adjustable central roller allows fine-tuning of the sliding and reduces play during installation. Another benefit: the more runners you add, the higher the load capacity. It is a simple and reliable solution that easily adapts to each project.
3. Aluminium sliding rails
Our standard model such as the D52-BP53 in aluminium covers lengths from 300 to 3,000 mm. It is particularly suited for medium loads and applications where space is limited (e.g. protective cover).
However, this type of rail is not recommended for environments subject to strong vibrations that may prematurely wear the profile. For optimal operation, it is recommended to distribute the load across several runners. Recommended operating temperature: -20 °C to +100 °C.
4. Steel sliding rails
Our steel sliding rails are produced in Normandy. They are galvanised and zinc-plated to resist corrosion and maintain smooth movement even under heavy loads.
Two references are available:
- E53-BP53: up to 225 kg, adjustable length up to 2,500 mm, BP53 runner with 3 steel rollers protected by a plastic coating.
- E53-BS53: galvanised rail with one or more runners, customisable length up to 2,500 mm.
Both models include a manual locking system.
5. Stainless steel sliding rails
Stainless steel sliding rails are particularly suitable for sensitive environments such as food processing or medical sectors. Our rails support up to 100 kg per runner and remain very quiet.
- ST53-BP53: lifetime-lubricated rollers, plastic-coated for smooth movement, maximum load 225 kg.
- ST53-BS53: designed to support up to 300 kg, operates between -20 °C and +80 °C.
6. Custom solutions
Beyond standard models, we offer customisation options: specific drilling, manual locking, surface treatment, adapted lubrication, etc.
Each project is different. If you require a custom design, our team will assist you in creating the most suitable sliding rail.
7. Maintenance of roller runners linear rails
Runners are pre-greased at the factory, significantly reducing maintenance. We use different lubricants depending on the materials:
- high-pressure bearing grease for steel,
- white grease for aluminium and stainless steel,
- food-grade grease compatible with clean rooms,
- high-temperature grease,
- PTFE-free grease for paint booths.
If required, a dry (non-lubricated) assembly can be specified.
To extend service life, simple regular cleaning is sufficient to remove dust or debris that could hinder movement.
