1. Who is Chambrelan and what does the company offer?

Since 1956, Chambrelan has been developing linear guidance solutions, such as industrial slides for drawers and sliding rails. All products are manufactured in Normandy, from initial machining through to finishing, ensuring consistent quality at every stage.

Recognised internationally, the company now equips professionals across many sectors thanks to a wide distribution network. To stay close to field requirements, products are regularly improved from a technical perspective, always with the aim of offering reliable, robust and easy-to-integrate systems.

2. Why choose anodised aluminium sliding rails?

Anodised aluminium is lightweight, strong and resistant. The anodising treatment creates a protective layer that strengthens the rail and makes it more durable. This type of rail resists corrosion, scratches and high temperatures. It can support up to 75 kg per runners, while remaining easy to install. In addition, it is recyclable, insulating, non-conductive and easy to maintain.

3. Do aluminium rails require specific maintenance?

Not really. The rails are pre-greased at the factory to ensure long-term performance. If used in an abrasive environment, regular lubrication is recommended. It is easy to do and extends their service life.

4. Can aluminium sliding rails be made to measure?

Yes. Chambrelan offers made-to-measure rails adapted to each project. Several elements can be customised, such as length, drilling or surface treatments. If aluminium is not suitable for your environment, steel or stainless steel alternatives are also available, always with the option of customisation.
